Public-in-private operating is now limited and ad-hoc. Occasionally happens at St Vincent’s Private Werribee, or at Epworth. Given we are back to full operating at WH, surgeons try to get external assistants, but may request one of us.

Minimal responsibility for organisation. If you can be available for a WR the following morning may be of use, but no expectation. Post-op ward rounds are done by a resident and a physician, seems to be they contact the surgeon directly now.
