Bacchus Marsh

Mr. Russell Miller – usually 2 days full operating during 4 week cycle, on consecutive Tuesdays.

Usually 2 arthroplasty cases (hips, knees and occasionally shoulders) in the morning and 2 scopes or other smaller cases in the afternoon.

  1. TKA – Smith and Nephew Legion Primary (medial parapatellar)
  2. THA – Depuy Synthes Corail (Hardinge)
  3. rTSR – Lima SMR (lateral deltoid split)

All cases already discussed and booked by Helen Murrie (PAC NUM) and Mr. Russell Miller (helen.murrie1@wh.org.au). A rep will be there for each case. You don’t usually need to contact them beforehand.

Postop appointments in Bacchus Marsh Surgical Registrar Clinic (BMSRC) are also pre-booked by Helen and run by you. Sometimes will have to review postops from Mr Miller’s Epworth Freemasons public in private (PIP) lists. These often don’t have notes on CPF and are also booked by Helen.

Mr Miller typically follows up his arthroplasty patients with a phone review at around the 3-4 week mark.
