- Clinics run:
- Tuesday all day (Fracture AM/PM + post-op wound clinic in AM)
- Wednesday AM (Clifford elective)
- Friday AM (all other consultants)
- Occasionally Friday PM (Harris complex patients only)
- Level 1 on west side of hospital near Eleanor St entrance
- To book a clinic, need to do an e-referral via Bossnet or a paper ISBAR form and give to clinic nurse or send to RMC (Phone: 8345 7252)
- Clinic notes:
- Ensure correct episode on bossnet
- Open up patient’s file and click either op progress note (bottom right) or can do specialised op clinic note that can be then input into a letter through a separate form on bossnet which is automatically sent to GP
- If op progress note doesn’t appear in bottom right then you’re in the wrong episode
- Plaster techs are on same level as us (phone: 0407 548 623)
- Fill out plaster tech form, tell patient to go to plaster room and take a number
- Radiology is all paper forms in outpatients
- Give form to patient to take to service desk in middle of room and nurses organise for patient to go to radiology then come back
- If patient needs plaster off and/or XR at next appointment, write slips and given them to patient to bring back
