Consent form
Registrar team
- Every Friday, someone should be assigned to this clinic (ideally with Prof Tran)
- Attend clinic D with the research nurse team (lead by Olivia and Ange)
- You will need to log in to the “Spinnaker” platform (https://stopkoa.spinnakersoftware.com/Login)
- The patient should already have been sent the information form (but they don’t really need it)
- When the patient is called in, just chat to them about the project, ensure they understand the reason behind it, understand what Mounjaro is, and that their compliance is required for 72 weeks. Ensure them that their care will not be compromised by this study but ideally they should not have a TKR for at least 5 months.
- Get the patient to signs the consent form (paper)
- Run through the questionnaire on “Spinnaker” (it’s pretty simple to follow, the questions about depression/suicide are uncomfortable so fire a warning shot early).
