Research Office workshops for 2025
The Research Office is offering some workshops during 2025. Topics to be covered this year include Statistics for Research, REDCap, Ethics and Governance Submission, Literature Searching, Intro to EndNote 21, Covidence, NVIVO data analysis software, Involving Consumers in Research, and Co-Design Methodology.

Covidence
This is a new subscription that Western Health has just made available. It’s a systematic review management application and is a user-friendly and efficient way to screen articles and extract data. Multiple reviewers are able to use it concurrently, and use the platform to collate the data for analysis afterwards.

- The Office of Research has just introduced a new consulting service with an experienced biostatistician to help WH researchers with their study design and data analysis for research projects conducted at WH.
- Please visit their website “Research Support – Biostatistical Consulting Service” for more information regarding this service. You will need to complete a form with details about the project and the assistance that you require.
- The biostatistician will then get in touch to set up a meeting with you.
