Our HITH service is based at Footscray and Sunshine campuses, with a combined capacity of 70 beds (35 beds at each site). We are excited to let you know that by the 20th of May, we will further increase our capacity to a combined total of 80 beds.
We are eager to work with you in streamlining early referrals and transfers to HITH from inpatient hospital beds. If you have any patients on your ward whom you are uncertain about meeting our admission criteria, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our HITH ANUM and Liaison nurse are readily available to discuss and assist in finding suitable solutions. We pride ourselves on our ability to safely admit patients to our service and also in assisting your team to consider other services that may be better suited.
