Biography
Associate Professor Marc Friso is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in hip preservation and foot and ankle surgery. He works as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Western Health and treats paediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
A/Prof Friso completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria and Tasmania and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. His hip work includes periacetabular osteotomy, hip arthroscopy and total hip replacement.
Marc is an Adjunct Associate Professor at La Trobe University Sport and Exercise Medicine research unit. He takes part in clinical research, has visiting fellows, teaches junior doctors at all levels and was an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons clinical examination.
