Biography

Mr Rohan Sheehy is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in the Hip and Knee unit at Western Health, with a public appointment at Footscray Hospital, and a co-supervisor of the Western Health Advanced Arthroplasty Fellowship. He also holds a public appointment at Sandringham Hospital (Alfred Health).

He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and his specialist orthopaedic training across several Victorian hospitals. He then undertook subspecialty fellowship training in hip and knee replacement surgery in Melbourne, further training in Paris, and a trauma fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

His work covers hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy and ACL reconstruction, along with fractures and soft tissue injuries of the upper and lower limb in adults and children. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
