Biography

Mr Saeed Asadollahi is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in the Hip and Knee unit at Western Health in Footscray, where he supervises the Western Health Advanced Arthroplasty Fellowship in robotics and revision surgery. He also holds a public appointment at Northern Health.

He is Australian trained, completing his specialist training through the Sydney Northside program and becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018. He then completed a fellowship in pelvic and acetabular surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and, in 2019, a clinical hip and knee fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford focused on complex reconstructive surgery.

His practice includes primary and revision hip and knee replacement, prosthetic joint infection, adult and paediatric trauma, ACL reconstruction and cartilage and meniscal preservation. He is involved in research and in teaching medical students and registrars, and speaks English and Farsi.
