Biography

Mr Ishfaq Hussaini is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in the Hip and Knee unit at Western Health. He also holds a public appointment at Austin Health.

He holds the MBBS and MS (Ortho) degrees. After moving to Australia in 1997 he completed advanced orthopaedic training and gained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has more than 20 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery.

His work includes hip, knee and shoulder replacement, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, foot surgery such as bunion correction, and general trauma care for adults and children. He speaks Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri and Arabic.
