Biography

Associate Professor Oren Tirosh is a biomechanist and Associate Professor of Clinical Biomechanics and Rehabilitation in the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences at RMIT University. He holds a PhD in biomechanics from Deakin University and has around 25 years of research experience in postural balance and gait.

Within the Western Health Orthopaedic Department research team he serves as research database manager and statistician. He developed digital health systems for orthopaedic patients at Western Health, including the PROMsBase web portal for patient-reported outcome measures, and has co-authored studies with Professor Phong Tran on total hip arthroplasty approaches, hip arthroscopy outcomes, smartphone tele-assessment and telehealth follow-up after joint replacement.
