Biography

Mr Duy Thai is an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in upper limb conditions. He holds a public appointment at Western Health, where he is Deputy Head and Director of Training in the orthopaedic department, and also works at the Northern Hospital. He holds the MBBS and a Diploma of Surgical Anatomy and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Mr Thai completed an upper limb fellowship with an emphasis on arthroscopic surgery. He treats rotator cuff tears, subacromial impingement, bursitis, recurrent shoulder dislocation and frozen shoulder, and also manages fractures, sporting injuries, and shoulder and knee arthritis needing joint replacement. Mr Thai speaks fluent Vietnamese.
