Biography
Mr Raymond Crowe is a Melbourne orthopaedic surgeon who has been in practice since 1992 and is a consultant in the Hip and Knee unit at Western Health.
He graduated in medicine from the University of Melbourne and holds Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in both General Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
His work includes hip, knee and shoulder replacement, with a particular interest in anterior hip replacement and the treatment of early joint degeneration. He also treats sports injuries, cartilage damage and tendon injuries, and played a significant role in bringing Matrix Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation (MACI), a cartilage cell implant technique, to Australia.
