Biography

Dr Rejith Mannambeth is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in the trauma service at Western Health, where he consults at Footscray Hospital. He also holds public appointments at The Alfred and Box Hill Hospital, and spent about a decade at The Alfred as a specialist trauma and arthroplasty surgeon.

Dr Mannambeth has more than 15 years of orthopaedic experience across several countries, with advanced fellowships in Germany, the United Kingdom, India, Canada and Australia. His qualifications include MBBS, MS (Orth), DNB (Orth), FRACS and FAOA.

His work covers upper and lower limb trauma, complex fractures around joints, primary and revision hip and knee replacement, and shoulder and knee sports injuries. He is involved in research and in training orthopaedic registrars. He speaks Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil as well as English.
